StartingPoint

New group starting January 13th / 15th!

StartingPoint is a conversational environment where you can explore faith and experience community. Wherever you are in your faith-walk, this is the place to start your next season of life.

We will discover God's answers to life's basic questions: Who am I? Where did I come from? Why am I here? What happens when I die? Who is God? What is he like? How does he feel about me? What is the Bible all about?

When:  Sundays at 9:00 am or Tuesdays 6:30pm. (Starting January 13th.)
Each session lasts about 1hr 15 minutes. There are 10 sessions total.

Where:  At St. Peter Lutheran in the Emmaus Room (located in the main hallway between the church and school, south of the Gathering Area.)

What to bring:  Nothing--unless you would like to use your own Bible. We will provide the study guide, pen, and Bibles.

What if I miss a meeting?  We understand that sometimes life happens. If you miss a meeting, we will make it up at your convenience.

What about my kids?  Kids are welcome to attend the meeting. If you feel that childcare would be beneficial, please contact Pastor Michael.

Will I be expected to answer questions?  You will never be "put on the spot" to answer questions. You are free to answer or ask questions as you feel comfortable.

Will I become a member at St. Peter after the 10 group sessions?  The #1 goal of the group is not church membership, but to grow in your faith. However, when the group is over, you are invited to become a member if you find you are in agreement with what we teach and believe.

Still not sure? Come to the first meeting, no obligation, and then make your decision!
